ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
Symons Valley
Leisure & Amenities Society
The Symons Valley Leisure & Amenities Society (SVLAS) is a non-profit organization established in 2017 to lead and manage the development of a City-owned land parcel that The City of Calgary has designated as a shared community amenity space for Symons Valley communities. The Symons Valley Leisure & Amenities Society is responsible for the planning, building, and eventual operating and programing of the Symons Valley Park.

The Symons Valley Leisure & Amenities Society started as a partnership between four Symons Valley communities--Kincora, Nolan Hill, Sage Hill, Sherwood. Today, it is still supported by each of the respective Community Associations. While all board directors must be area residents and members of their respective Community Associations, anyone interested in supporting Symons Valley Park are welcome to volunteer.
