Symons Valley Leisure & Amenities Society (SVLAS) is a non-profit organization responsible for the planning, building, and eventual operating and programing of the Symons Valley Park.
A brief history.
The Symons Valley Leisure & Amenities Society (SVLAS) is a partnership between the four Symons Valley communities--Kincora, Nolan Hill, Sage Hill, Sherwood--to develop a one-of-a-kind recreational destination for area residents.
As part of the development of the Symons Valley area, The City of Calgary designated a parcel of land located along Symons Valley Parkway directly south of Sage Hill Crossing, for future recreation amenities.
The Symons Valley Leisure & Amenities Society (SVLAS) was established in 2017 to lead and manage the development of this parcel for area residents.
To create community-accessible, all-season outdoor recreation and leisure amenities for our four Symons Valley area communities.
To become the destination of choice for the Symons Valley communities and beyond.
We are your neighbours.
The Symons Valley Leisure & Amenities Society's (SVLAS) Board of Directors is made up of volunteers from each of the four partner communities in Symons Valley--Sherwood, Kincora, Nolan Hill and Sage Hill. We are your neighbours and we'd love to work with you to bring this exciting community project to life!
